Web-based Email Advanced Help

If you are behind a load-balancing firewall, you may need to uncheck the access restriction option. However, please be warned that unchecking that option makes it easier for someone to hijack your email session.

SMTP Server Advanced Help

To prevent their users from spamming, many ISPs block port 25.

The workaround is to use our SMTP server at port 25000. You can also use port 2500. See our instructions for your email program.

One further note: Don't blame your ISP for this.

• When an ISP blocks port 25, it is being a good Net citizen, and is making the best of a bad situation.
• If you must blame someone, blame the spammers.
